Local Charity recognised by the King.
We are honoured and thrilled to receive the KAVS in respect of our wonderful volunteers who go above and beyond to provide the services of our Community Support Scheme. The Award was presented to Volunteer Co-ordinator Chrisi Marshall, by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Devon, David Fursdon, at a celebratory event in the Manor House, Dawlish on Monday 8th July 2024.
Our service is here to support the following groups of people in Teignbridge:
Older People, Adults with Dementia, Adults with Mental Health Problems, Adults with Sensory Disabilities, Adults with Physical Difficulties, Adults with Learning Difficulties and Carers of any of the above.
Assist Teignbridge received the King's Award for Voluntary Service.
