Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update:Throughout the pandemic our amazing staff continued to provide essential care services to older people and others in need. Although restrictions have now eased, our staff continue to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when with clients, and we continue to follow the latest guidance to keep everyone as safe as possible.
ASSIST NAIL TRIMMING SERVICE
We offer nail cutting support in their own homes to people with healthy feet and healthy toenails
who are genuinely unable to manage their own personal footcare. This will usually be older people but examples
of other people who would be eligible are:- those with a learning or physical disability, those with a visual or cognitive impairment,
people suffering from arthritis or breathlessness.
Your feet must be healthy and your toenails must not be severely
thickened or deformed. If you have a corn or callus you can still use our service for nail cutting,
but we will not be able to treat the corn or callus. Our practitioners are not qualified podiatrists, although they have received training from an NHS podiatrist.
If this applies to you, you may wish to discuss your foot problem with your GP or refer yourself to your local NHS Podiatry Clinic.
Telephone Monday-Friday 9am-1pm 01803 217712.

We pride ourselves on a personal service and recognise that many people feel vulnerable about having strangers in their home. We decided to offer the local community the option of receiving treatments at an accessible central venue.
With the support of Dawlish Town Council, we ran a Nail Clinic every other month at the Manor House, Dawlish. It was by appointment, it was not just a drop-in.
The clinics had to stop whilst there were restrictions, and they have not yet re-started.
Please telephone 01626 889288 if you would like to register an interest.
Please Support our Charity! We need volunteers for community activities, and Trustees to help with the running of the organisation.

We make a charge for some of our services, but in keeping these as low as possible we do still rely on grant aid and donations from our supporters. Click here to find out how to make a donation or otherwise help us financially.
