Our charity is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in Teignbridge through a variety of free community support services, including assistance claiming benefits entitlements, and paid for services including sitting and home care, home help, and nail trimming.
Our wonderful volunteers provide our community support services, and we have a team of trained care staff providing the paid-for services. We are committed to supporting both individuals and their caregivers to ensure they receive the assistance they need.
We are honoured and thrilled to receive the King's Award for Voluntary Service in respect of our amazing volunteers who go above and beyond to provide our free services.
We bring the expertise of our practitioners to your doorstep, offering professional nail cutting support in the comfort of your own home. (charges apply).
We support older people with routine household tasks such as cleaning and laundry, shopping, and dealing with paperwork. (charges apply).
Our Community Support befrienders offer companionship to those in need, reducing social isolation and contributing to mental and physical well-being.
Established in 1997 and registered with the CQC, our trained staff can support with personal care needs or provide a sitting service. (charges apply)

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Assist Teignbridge aims to deliver a high quality, professional service to all clients at all times, and in order to maintain and improve our standards of provision we use a variety of methods of quality assurance. For our regulated provision (personal care and nail trimming) we are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are inspected and monitored by them. At our latest review July 2023 our rating was “Good”.
